The issues surrounding the perpetuity question are challenging and complex. To assist citizens in understanding some of these issues, we have developed a set of Questions and Answers that will hopefully answer some basic questions about easements and the perpetuity issue and provide a useful foundation for understanding the debate over easement perpetuity.
